RANCHI: Jharkhand health minister Banna Gupta on Wednesday alleged that he was not allowed to put forth the state's concern over the precautionary Covid 19 vaccine during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's virtual meeting with the chief ministers.
Gupta, who attended the meeting on behalf of chief minister Hemant Soren, told reporters later that he had raised his hand to demand that booster doses for citizens of all age groups should be made free.
J'khand's voice not heard at meet, claims Banna
Gupta claimed, "I also raised my hand to demand that the Centre should provide free vaccines to the children aged between six and 12 years. But Jharkhand's voice was not heard at the meeting."
